Kool & The Gang Take it to The Top

Having traveled extensively throughout Europe and North Africa, Kool & The Gang pony’d up to the Alltech Music Festival in Caen, France for a Celebration. While the world’s equestrian eyes focused on the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy, her ears were pointed to the Alltech Music Festival. Vintage Soul Orchestra got the crowd warmed up and set a perfect stage for Kool & The Gang, to perform their hits.

And perform they did. They really got the crowd going with “Get Down On It” and kept the beat going with the much sampled “Hollywood Swingin’.” "Jungle Boogie" got the estimated crowd of 8,500 worked up into a frenzy, before being followed by "Cherish" and "Ladies Night." But what really brought the house down was the encore: “Celebration.” The band even invited Alltech Founder Dr. Pearse Lyons on stage to join in the fun.
